Natural elegance for the garden room

NatureLite – contemporary shapes in authentic colours
Is there anything that can compete with genuine terracotta? Without a doubt! Anyone who has run his/her hand over the manually crafted naturelite pots and planters made of fibreglass with finely balanced mineral additives will be convinced. This material, which has already proved its worth in the ship-building industry, looks and feels like real terracotta. With one important difference: planters and bowls made of naturelite weigh up to 70 per cent less than conventional ceramics, so customers can carry them home without difficulty. The wider choice of colours is another plus point. Apart from the popular Cotto, Lead and Black shades, Esteras is also available in three cool natural hues and innovative finishes: planters in Cotto brown, the naturelite variation on terracotta brown, feature both traditional and contemporary designs to match current furnishing trends. With their delicate patina, the classic-modern planters in Dark Brown create a relaxed atmosphere. In the Concrete shade, as the name suggests, the clean-lined rectangular, oval and round forms with their fascinating resemblance to weathered concrete, are set off to perfection.

Terrazzo – lightweights with tradition
With their inimitable design and timeless appearance, the planters in the Terrazzo naturelite series combine the classic Terrazzo technique with attractive colours: Spotted Red is the name of the latest shade with red and light-coloured fragments of stone. And the striking Terrazzo Black und White planters stage a particularly stylish show. It is not only the colours and the smooth, seamless finish that make these containers so unique but also their unusual shapes. For the first time, both square and gently rounded pots double as truly decorative objects with their non-symmetrical planting insert, for example, setting off their extravagant finish with the polished stone particles to perfection. There are also triangular and rectangular containers for artistic arrangements in the home, business premises or catering outlets. Thanks to the range of different sizes and heights, they can be grouped together in whichever way you fancy to create diverse effects and moods.

Terra Mano – pure, unadulterated terracotta
Alongside the innovative products made of fibreglass, the Esteras range also includes high-specification terracotta planters: Terra Mano. The name stands for products made entirely by hand from top-grade clay, using the traditional single mould technique. For plant lovers who appreciate something special, these containers in the Terra Mano Antique range featuring historic designs – heads of lions or curling branches in an antique patina – have just what it takes. In addition, there are also stylish, time-honoured models as well as up-to-date oval, triangular and square shapes in both the timelessly popular Classic shade and the impressive Natural Brown tone – always a reliable sales hit. All Terra Mano planters are handmade. Depending on the weight, the manufacturing and drying operations take up to four weeks. The subsequent firing process takes just over another week at temperatures of more than 960° centigrade (1760° fahrenheit). The resulting terracotta products have an attractive finish, as well as being highly durable and resistant to frost.

The glazed, slim-line planters and chubby bowls in the Lotus Graphite range are likewise fashioned by hand. These stoneware containers are modelled on natural materials and exhibit a typically smooth, water-repellent surface. Thanks to the special firing effect of their glaze, each of the new, charming designs is really unique. Like all Emsa's Esteras brand planters, Lotus Graphite is also available in the higher profit bracket reserved for specialist shops.
