Chadoo – for pure tea enjoyment

Emsa's new tea series in a unique spherical design

Tea is enjoying a new revival among connoisseurs. And no wonder, because tea brings relaxation into the stress of everyday life and creates moments of warmth on cooler days. Special blends are now stylishly brewed and served with the help of Emsa's new Chadoo* tea series which covers everything you need for a perfect tea ceremony: from the revolutionary round teapot to the spherical glass cups and matching biscuit dish.

A modern interpretation of the tea culture
With Chadoo, the feeling of well-being commences with the preparation of the tea. The slanting, spherical design turns the teapot into a harmonious eye-catcher. The combination of materials is also unusual: the body of the pot is made of tough borosilicate glass, the base of real porcelain. The handle is made of high-quality plastic, which does not get hot and fits reassuringly into your hand thanks to its agreeable "Perfect Grip" surface structure. The special arrangement of the pores in the generous-sized, aroma-enhancing tea strainer made of plastic guarantees optimum flavour. And thanks to its genuine porcelain base, the pot sits firmly on the matching, white china réchaud.

For everyone who wants to treat himself/herself or someone else, the round teapot and réchaud are available as a set together with a drip bowl for the strainer. Has the tea been standing long enough? Simply stand the filter in the china bowl – there is no mess and the tea leaves can cool down at leisure.

The nicest way to enjoy tea
It goes without saying that no cosy tea time is complete without the matching tea cups. The glass cups are available in the same appealing spherical design and, with their plastic gripping zone they fit comfortably in your hand. A little milk or cream in the rooibos (red bush) tea or rock candy in the Friesland blend? Please help yourself from the attractive, round creamer and matching sugar bowl. Both come with a lid and a spoon for the sugar. A biscuit dish and white china tray round off the tea ceremony. The tray can either be used for serving one cup of tea and a cookie or it doubles as a saucer for the milk jug and the sugar bowl on the laid table.

Depending on personal taste, Chadoo is available in white, blackberry purple or midnight blue.

* The name Chadoo has been borrowed from the Japanese tea ceremony and stands for calm, harmony and pure delight
